Bruce Morcombe has shared his horror after his 6-year-old grandson was targeted online while playing Roblox.

Their grandson was on his iPad in the car when he mentioned to Bruce and Denise that someone had contacted him, and they knew his name.

“We were frightened for him,” he told Sofie Formica.

Bruce said it’s important to thank your child for alerting you when something strange happens online, and to always encourage them to do so.

He said he contacted the person online who had reached out to his grandson.

“Do take a screenshot just in case, that provides evidence and who knows there could be an appeal from police .. and you might hold a piece of the puzzle that provides additional advice.”
