Country music star strikes a chord with Ray
Ray was joined live in the studio by country music star Gord Bamford ahead of his Australian tour.
Gord may sport a thick Canadian accent but he has strong Aussie roots, starting his life in outback Australia.
With five studio albums to his name, Gord is back in the country performing tracks from his latest album Neon Smoke.
Gord performed his song What Grandpas Do as a special tribute for the birth of Ray’s first grandchild Ava, well and truly striking a chord.
“It’ll be copping a hammering on the car CD machine on the way home,” Ray says.
Ray also invited the country star to join him in the commentary box for this year’s NRL Grand Final, with Gord happily accepting the offer.
