China’s aggression leads to historic Australia-Japan security pact
Australia’s new security pact with Japan is being described as a pushback against China.
Australia and Japan will sign a historic treaty that will further strengthen defence and security cooperation between the two nations.
Australian Strategic Policy Institute Executive Director Peter Jennings told Joe Hildebrand it is a “significant agreement”.
“The only other country which Japan has a similar agreement with is the United States.
“The only reason this is happening is because China has become more aggressive.”
