The Prime Minister is playing down suggestions he could create an Indigenous Voice to Parliament, even if the referendum fails.

Australians will vote on enshrining the advisory body in the constitution this year.

Anthony Albanese says if the vote comes back no, the constitution won’t change.

Anne Twomey is a Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Sydney. She joined Sofie Formica to give her take on giving The Voice constitutional recognition.
