North Queensland Cowboys half Tom Dearden has reflected on the improvements this season for the club.

He says training has been enjoyable, and winning helps, but he’s also feeling confident in himself.

“It’s a really enjoyable environment at the moment,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.

He’ll face off against Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes when the Cowboys take on Melbourne Storm on Saturday night.

“They’ve obviously got some really good strike players, and they are very good attacking team so we spent a lot of work on our defense, we have been looking at what their strike is and how they pull teams apart and we will be doing everything we can to nullify what they do.”
