Convicted sex offender Robert Hughes will be released on parole this month and immediately deported to the UK.

The disgraced Hey Dad…! actor has been behind bars since 2014 for sexually abusing four girls during the 1980s and 1990s.

Hughes has renounced his Australian citizenship, meaning he must return to the UK on his release, which will be no later than June 14.
