Disturbing allegations laid bare in domestic violence probe
Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll has taken the stand at the Commission of Inquiry into the Queensland Police Service’s handling of domestic and family violence cases.
The inquiry is examining cultural issues within the force as well as the structure and capability to respond to domestic and family violence cases.
The commissioner had initially rejected a request to appear at the inquiry.
Nine reporter Jess Millward crossed to Neil Breen to wrap-up the inquiry, and said there were some disturbing allegations laid bare.
