Does this take the spot for best job ever? Meet extraordinary Aussie Mitchell Leroy
Interacting with some of the most beautiful and intelligent creatures on the planet, Mitchell Leroy has a job to be envious of.
As the Curator of Mammals at Seaworld, Leroy works closely with dolphins, seals and polar bears.
He joins 4BC’s Chris Smith to talk more about his passion and what sparked his interest in working with these magnificent creates.
“I’ve always had an affinity with animals, ever since I was a very young child.
“You could even be doing something quite dangerous like rescuing humpback whales and you just sit there and think ‘wow’ I’ve just helped this 30-tonne animal get out of this shark net and it’s now swimming south with its baby.
“It’s just amazing.”
