The National Rugby League is set to welcome a new club in 2023, with the competition increasing to 17 teams.

Terry Reader, CEO of the newly established Dolphins, spoke to Peter Psaltis about the exciting road ahead.

“Having players talking about going to training… it just makes it a lot more real for people,” he said.

Terry Reader also mentioned the importance of their rise from the BRL competition.

“We really are Queensland’s team, and Brisbane’s team,” he said.

The Dolphins will be the first team to join the NRL competition since the Gold Coast Titans in 2007.
