Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States after an unprecedented campaign which included two attempts on his life.

Live from Washington D.C. 9News US Correspondent Lauren Tomasi told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “During Donald Trump’s speech, we watched Joe Biden.”

“It was really interesting because Donald Trump’s speech was in many ways still candid Donald Trump rather than President Donald Trump and Joe Biden at some points had his chin on his on his fist and a little shake of the head.”

“He wasn’t standing to applaud like many Republicans in the room were,” Lauren Tomasi said.

Independent Journalist Brad Polumbo live from Washington D.C. told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “This feels like a cultural tipping point.”
