Dylan Edwards “very grateful” for Merv Cartwright Medal
The Panthers fullback’s stellar form has been recognised at the club’s annual awards night.
Edwards won the best and fairest award – the Merv Cartwright Medal. He was also named the Members Player of the Year.
Across the regular season, he averaged 218 metres a game, eight tries, six try assists, 10 line breaks and 98 tackle breaks.
He says that the key to his form has been his mental game.
Edwards says he’s worked on the way he mentally handles the game, especially when things go wrong.
He’ll be watching tonight’s game between the Sharks and Rabbitohs closely tonight, because Penrith will play the winner in next week’s Preliminary Final.
