Tens of thousands of fans will head to Suncorp Stadium over the next three nights to see the British busker turned global superstar Ed Sheeran.

Suncorp Stadium general manager Alan Graham says it will be roughly 60,000 fans each night.

“We are really looking to tonight, this is the biggest ever we have ever had, 180,000 people over three days it’s just amazing,” he told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons.

He urges concert go-ers to arrive early.

Gates open at 5pm.

“The issue we had probably more with Red Hot Chilli Peppers was what I call the Post Malone effect he was so popular, everyone decided they wanted to come and see him, but unfortunately everyone decided they wanted to come at exactly the same time.”
