Queensland’s youth offenders are causing chaos in the state, and now the statistics have been revealed. 

Two months after the Breach of Bail backflip was announced, 4BC Drive revealed that 169 individuals were charged with 511 Breach of Bail offences between March 22 to May 25.

From there, the 4BC Drive team contacted the Justice Department and were able to obtain the statistics on Queensland’s youth bail from July 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023.

Peter Gleeson said on 4BC Drive, “These bail figures are nowhere near good enough for this state. It should be seen as an out-and-out failure.”
