Former PM pushes for inquiry into nation’s COVID response

Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott has backed calls for a Royal Commission into the handling of the coronavirus pandemic on a state, federal and international level.
Mr Abbott said the inquiry would “see what’s gone right and what’s gone wrong” to shore up responses to future pandemics.
