Trent Thorburn, foster brother of murdered girl Tiahleigh Palmer, has been released on parole after serving 16 months of his 4-year sentence.
Thorburn, who pleaded guilty to having sex with a 12-year-old girl and lying to the crime and corruption commission, was jailed in September for incest and perjury.
His father Rick Thorburn is awaiting trial for trial for Tiahleigh’s murder.
Tiahleigh’s mother has slammed Thorburn’s early release, saying no justice has been served.
Queensland’s Minister for Police and Corrective Services Mark Ryan declined to comment on the case.
