A crisis meeting will be held tomorrow afternoon with NRL boss Andrew Abdo and club representatives, frustrated over the stalemate on funding.

Newscorp rugby league journalist Dean Ritchie said clubs remained “defiant and united” and were calling for another $5 million on top of their player payments.

It comes amid an ongoing stoush related to the CBA and salary cap.

“There certainly is [a fair bit of anger] and it’s growing by the day,” he told Neil Breen.
