Gold Coast Titans pull off NRL blindside, sign Jamayne Isaako for 2022
Utility back Jamayne Isaako has been immediately released from his contract with the Broncos to join the Titans for the remainder of 2022.
Parramatta had recently been chasing Isaako for a short-term signing but the Broncos had refused to release him while fullback Tesi Niu was injured.
The Titans made the surprise announcement of his signing this morning and are expected to name Isaako in their team later today.
Isaako has signed with the Dolphins from 2023.
Wide World of Sports host Peter Psaltis told Sofie Formica the Titans see him as “a good backup” for their young backline.
“He’s an obvious choice to come in there,” he said.

In my opinion the Broncos allowing Isaako to leave now is a big nod for the clubs backline depth. Particularly with the emergence of Deine Mariner. The youngster scored 4 tries on debut in the @HostplusCup for @WynnumSeagulls on the weekend @NRLonNine
