Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor’s speech in federal parliament yesterday has made headlines after an awkward slip-up.

Deputy Speaker Sharon Claydon stepped in while Speaker Milton Dick was taking a break, during Mr Taylor’s speech.

She interrupted Mr Taylor after he referred to her as “Mr Speaker” at least a dozen times.

Neil Breen said he “goosed himself” during the exchange.

“What happened yesterday was so funny, I have to play it for you,” Neil explained.
