How history could be made at the 2023 Grammy Awards
After two years of pandemic-related disruptions, the 65th annual Grammy Awards are returning to their long-time home in Los Angeles.
The story tonight is Beyoncé, with the megastar nominated for 9 awards, taking her career total to 88.
If she can take home four awards, she will make history as the most successful Grammy artist of all time.
Australians are making a splash, too, with Rufus du Sol nominated twice, off the back of a Grammy win last year.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Laurel & Mark plenty of “vintage” artists are up for awards as well.
“Talking about the older brigade, you’ve got Elvis Costello there, he’s nominated in the best rock album for “The Boy Named If”, you’ve got Bryan Adams for the best rock performance for “So Happy It Hurts”.
