How Morgan Evans pulled off two interstate gigs in 18 hours
Country music fans certainly aren’t imagining things if it seems like Morgan Evans has been everywhere lately.
In the last fortnight, the homegrown talent has hit CMC Rocks in Queensland, Rod Laver Arena and a cosy NSW pub.
Evans told Ray Hadley there was just an 18-hour turnaround between his appearance as Brad Paisley’s support act and filling out the Stag & Hunter in Newcastle.
“It was pretty funny, yeah, … I think I came off stage with [Paisley] at 11.15, or something like that and then we were in the van on the way to the airport about four hours later,” he said.
“We went from Rod Laver to this 200-capacity, sweaty Newcastle bar. I don’t know which one was more fun, honestly.”
