Labradors still reign supreme as Brisbane’s top dog but a rise in popularity is seeing other breeds dominate the suburbs.

Registration data has revealed Queensland’s trendiest breeds are the cavoodles, Maltese, Labradors, border collies and labradoodles.

To celebrate International Dog Day, the 4BC Breakfast team took a closer look at each suburb to find there’s some regional preferences.
