‘I need a miracle’: Jim Molan’s fight amid ‘magnificent’ Liberal win
Senator Jim Molan is still holding out hope for a seat in parliament after the Liberal Party’s election victory.
The retired major general was placed in a position deemed unwinnable on the Senate ticket in Saturday’s election.
But he tells Chris Smith despite his joy over the Liberal’s win, their large success may have made it harder for his own victory.
“The Labor preferences will flow down and I might get swamped by them.
“I need a miracle.
“It might only be a couple more days.”
