‘Include a Charity’ week kicks off on the September 4, encouraging Australians to consider leaving a portion of their estate to charity.

One charity that does benefit from this sort of donation is the Fred Hollows Foundation, which does very important work making sure that as many people as possible have access to quality eye care.

Head of Bequests at The Fred Hollows Foundation, Nadia Aden, said that while it’s scary to discuss making a donation in your estate, it is also a “really important” conversation to have with your loved ones.
