An Indigenous man was left emotional after being told to ‘sit down and shut up’ at Bundaberg pro-Voice community forum.

Grant, an Indigenous man from Bundaberg, attended an event for The Voice to Parliament last night, and was shut down by numerous attendees.

Grant told Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive, “Their response to that question, that I gave, was quite overwhelming, and left me quite stunned…”

“At that time, I said that, a lady from the front row, she got up…and told me to sit down and shut up…” Grant continued.
