International students to return to Queensland campuses in 2022

International students will be allowed to return to Queensland universities starting next year. 

The state government will allow 250 students to arrive each week and quarantine at Toowoomba’s Wellcamp facility.

Minister for Tourism and Innovation Stirling Hinchliffe told Parliament those studying health degrees will be the first to return.
