The Ipswich Mayor isn’t giving much away ahead of the release of her council’s budget today.

It will include $1.7 million for in-house mowing to maintain parks, following months of rain and flooding.

Speaking with Spencer Howson, filling in for Neil Breen, Teresa Harding wouldn’t reveal much on changes to rates.

Spencer Howson: “Moreton Bay’s 5.6, Brisbane 4.9, Redlands 4.7, Gold Coast 4.3, Logan 2.5.

“That’s the range – do we expect high-end or low-end from Ipswich?”

Teresa Harding: “We’re in that range and I guess people will find out at 9 o’clock.”
