Jess Millward: Premier’s response to bombshell integrity report ‘missed the mark’
A press conference held by the Premier this morning has “missed the mark”, Today reporter Jess Millward says.
Annastacia Palaszczuk has accepted all 14 recommendations made by Professor Peter Coaldrake in his review of the government’s culture and accountability.
It includes the release of Cabinet papers after just 30 days instead of 30 years, which Ms Palaszczuk has described as ‘fundamental’ reform.
She insists she wasn’t troubled by the report but admits she was “shocked and surprised” by some parts.
I’ll be speaking to the media about accepting all of the recommendations of Professor Coaldrake’s review. #qldpol https://t.co/HTqvGsMmAJ

Jess Millward told Tony Pilkington, filling in for Sofie Formica, the Premier didn’t give the best response.
