Jim Courier reveals the best player he’s ever seen – and it’s not Roger Federer!
The Australian Summer of tennis will be a little different this year, with Channel Nine taking over the broadcast rights.
The six-year, $350-million deal will see the Australian Open, among other events, jump ship after 40 years on Channel 7.
One man who has jumped with it is US tennis great, turned broadcaster Jim Courier.
He’s joined by fellow American John McEnroe as the lead commentators and will be supported by a cast of former Aussie players; Alicia Molik, Todd Woodbridge, Jelena Dokic, Sam Groth and Dylan Alcott.
