Kobe Hetherington on the mood around the Broncos ahead of Eels clash
Kobe Hetherington says it’s all about mindset for the Brisbane Broncos ahead of their all-important clash with the Parramatta Eels tomorrow night.
The Broncos forward said players were ready to take on the Eels after a thumping by the Storm on home turf last weekend.
“The mood has been good, we’ve had a good couple of training sessions with a short turnaround, they have been short but sharp,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.
“The boys we’ve all got a positive mindset, we just scrap that [Storm] game … main thing is attitude we’ve got to go out with a better attitude and give it to the Eels.”
Broncos coach Kevin Walters said Selwyn Cobbo was feeling fatigued and requested to sit out against the Eels, after he was seen training with the reserves.
Walters confirmed Jordan Pereira would step in.
Hetherington said he had spoken to Cobbo this afternoon.
“Yeah I have spoken to Selwyn, he just have some issues off the field.”
