A man has been charged with murder after a man was found dead outside the Fortitude Valley train station this morning. 

Police allege a fight involving two groups of men in a Brunswick Street mall broke out at approximately 4am.

It’s alleged a 24-year-old Bray Park man was fatally stabbed.

Three men were located nearby on a train platform and taken into custody.

A 20-year-old Birkdale man has been charged with murder.

He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

Two of the men, aged 21 and 20, who were assisting police have been released without charge.
