Man in critical condition after serious truck and four-car crash on M1
A man is in a critical condition after a serious truck and four-car accident on the M1.
Paramedics have transported six patients to hospital after being called to the scene.
It includes a man who’s in a critical condition with suspected head injuries.
Two other people have also been seriously injured.

Acting Chief Superintendent Rhys Wildman told Neil Breen the crash was caused by a vehicle travelling northbound.
“We had a vehicle travelling northbound on the M1 that’s unfortunately crossed over the median and collided with four vehicles.
“As a result, we’ve got five vehicles that have completely closed the M1 southbound.”
