Outback Wrangler arrives in NT after arrest warrant issued
Crocodile wrangler Matt Wright has landed in Darwin, where he is expected to be charged with several offences following a fatal helicopter crash this year.
The 43-year-old is wanted as part of investigations into the crash that killed his fellow cast member, Chris “Willow” Wilson.
It’s expected police will charge the Outback Wrangler star with offences including perverting the course of justice, destruction of evidence, fabricating evidence, unlawful entry, and interfering with witnesses.
Two other men who allegedly attended the crash site with Wright have already been charged.
His lawyers said the reality star “strenuously denies any wrongdoing” and plans to “vigorously” defend all charges against him.
Wright was seen at Sydney Airport this morning with his family before they boarded a flight, which landed in Darwin around noon.

The Brisbane Times reports Wright’s minders jostled with waiting media, pushing past cameras as they exited the airport.
A television camera was reportedly knocked to the ground in the commotion.
