Melanoma, what you should be looking for
Alan Jones is a melanoma survivor and has thrown his full support behind the fight to prevent the deadly cancer.
Australia has the highest rate of melanoma in the world, with over 14,000 of us diagnosed each year and one Aussie dying every five hours.
The Melanoma Institute’s co-medical director, Professor Georgina Long, tells Alan what we should be on the lookout for.

Alan has been supporting Jay Allen, a stage four melanoma survivor, as he aims to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the cause.

It’s been 10 years since Jay was diagnosed with Melanoma.
He tells Alan the journey will likely take him 50 days and says it’s worth every minute.
