Music icon Belinda Carlisle’s songs seem to transcend generations.

She spoke to Sofie Formica about living all over the world, and her upcoming tour in February where she will be visiting Brisbane.

“It’s been three years, and I have been to Australia many times through the years, so yes it’s one of my favourite places to tour.”

She has been singing since 1978, and the tour includes hits from her solo albums as well as a few from her time with the Go-Go’s.

She said some of the songs from that time “transcend just music”.
