Neil Breen criticises Channel 7’s decision to make an 11-year-old’s experience of being stabbed with a stick at school a national story.

11-year-old Xavier was pierced by a stick at Kruger State School, located near Ipswich, but the altercation has been cleared of assault and bullying.

Xavier’s mother, Nicole appeared on Sunrise this morning and voiced that more needs to be done to protect children.

Neil Breen said on 4BC Brisbane Live, “it seems a bit extreme, that a story of that caliber ended up on national breakfast TV, doesn’t it?”
