Neil Breen has reflected on the Small Steps 4 Hannah ball on Saturday night, saying it was an honour to MC the event.

He says the foundation, in memory of Hannah Clarke and her three children, raised around $250,000 on the night.

A private benefactor pledged funds to build nine townhouses for domestic violence victims.

“It was a wonderful, wonderful night,” Neil said.

He commended the announcement on the night from Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman of a specialist domestic and family violence court to be established in Brisbane.
