Neil Breen: What the State of the State address failed to do
Neil Breen says Premier Annastacia Pakaszczuk’s State of the State address disregards the other issues facing the state, including the health crisis and Olympic Games plans.
The government is still yet to prove they can deliver on a big project, Neil says.
“This is an enormous commitment, and they’d want to have their skates on unlike they do in other areas,” he said.
“The energy plan was basically used as a smother, because there was no mention of health … have we just forgotten that now?
“Education, nothing. There was no mention at all of her pet project, the Premier, the Olympic Games, which appears to have totally stagnated.”
He said the $62 billion energy and jobs plan was an ambitious one.
“I am not going to criticise the government for having ambition, with regards to renewables,” he said.
