New $20 note launches
The Reserve Bank of Australia will be releasing the new $20 note into circulation on Wednesday.
It follows the release of the new $5, $10 and $50 notes to assist vision-impaired Australians.
RBA Assistant Governor Lindsay Boulton tells Ross Greenwood it could take months for people to start seeing the notes.
“It can actually take up to five years before they’ve actually fully replaced the existing $20 note that’s in circulation.”
