New South Wales bursts the Tweed Heads border bubble
The New South Wales-Queensland border bubble has been closed in the east.
NSW Health has imposed a new order requiring any resident who has been in any of Queensland’s 11 quarantining local government areas to stay at home for 14 days.
The decision means north-eastern New South Wales residents, including in the Tweed region, cannot cross the border into the Gold Coast region without having to isolate.
