New Zealand reveals phased re-opening plan
New Zealand Prime Ministe Jacinda Ardern has announced a phased re-opening of the country’s border.
Fully vaccinated New Zealanders and other eligible Australian travellers will be able to travel to the country from 27 February and will be able to self-isolate, rather than go into hotel quarantine.
It’s expected tourists and travellers from Australia will have to wait until July.
NZ Herald reports there are already trans-Tasman flights available.
More to come.
