The Ovation of the Seas cruise ship has docked back in Sydney after a number of its passengers were killed in the White Island volcano disaster.
The ship pulled into the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay just before 6am this morning, ending the 12-day cruise where most of the victims of last Monday’s eruption came from.
The official death toll has risen to sixteen after an Australian man died from his injuries in a Sydney hospital.
Two bodies are still yet to be retrieved from White Island, with police divers preparing to embark on a fourth mission to locate them.
