NSW Energy Minister is making Liberals ‘look weak and sneaky’
An attempt to force the federal government to tackle climate change has been shut down at a national meeting of energy ministers.
New South Wales Energy Minister Don Harwin tried to get COAG members to discuss putting an emissions obligation into national energy policy on Wednesday.
But the push was quashed by the federal government.
Federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor maintains there were more important issues to focus on.
Andrew Bolt tells Michael McLaren it was “showboating” by Mr Harwin.
“The NSW Energy Minister trying to throw the Morrison government under a bus to make the NSW government look good, but making Liberals all over the place look weak and sneaky”.
