Number of QLD suburbs cracking the $1 million mark doubled in a year

The number of Queensland suburbs where average house prices soared above $1 million has doubled in the past year, new data from CoreLogic shows.
The Sunshine State was also the only state to have a similar number of million dollar suburbs in its capital city of Brisbane and in its regions.
There are 122 million dollar suburbs in Brisbane, and 107 in the regions.
Teneriffe had a median house price of $2.8 million, making it the most expensive suburb in Brisbane.

- Wamuran
- Stafford Heights
- Mitchelton
- Mount Crosby
- Upper Kedron
- Albany Creek
- Moorooka Brisbane
- Upper Mount Gravatt
- Calamvale
- Sunnybank Hills
- Parkinson
- Everton Park
- Carseldine
- Aspley
- Birkdale
Another 50 suburbs across Queensland had a median price above the $1 million mark in the past year.
