Ray Hadley has paid tribute to the outgoing CEO of Macquarie Media Adam Lang as he finishes his time at the company.

Today is Adam’s final day after our merger with Nine Entertainment made his position redundant.

Ray has wished Adam all the best on-air, describing him as “much loved by staff across the network for his calm, dignified approach”.

“When Adam came here I guess there was a sense of trepidation from those of us within the organisation because he was the boss of our main opponent.

“Adam Lang has shown himself to be a very decent and fair boss. A very good man. I wish him and his family all the best in the future. 

“I’ve been in his industry for 37 years. I’ve had a lot of radio bosses in those 37 years. In my opinion, Adam Lang is one of the best.”
