Opposition renews push for ramping fixes that don’t need a ‘magic wand’
The Opposition has renewed its push for the state government to review a four-pronged solution to the ambulance ramping crisis.
The Health Minister yesterday lamented that she would “love to have a magic wand” to stop the issue overnight.
But LNP Leader David Crisafulli says the comments are a cop-out when other solutions haven’t been attempted.
“I don’t have a wand but I’ve got a set of ears and I’ve been listening to what people have told us across Queensland,” he told Neil Breen.
“There are solutions on the table so maybe instead of a wand, she should get a pen and start writing some of them down.
“We’ve put four solutions on the table and they’ve come from running town hall crisis meetings across the state.”

Neil Breen earlier slammed the Health Minister’s comments, describing them as an embarrassment to the state.
“She is a Health Minister in a government that has held power in Queensland for 29 of the last 33 years and ambulance ramping is yet again out of control.
“In fact, it’s never in control.”
