Origin decider in Brisbane after Maroons suffer heavy defeat in Game II
NSW has forced the State of Origin series to a Brisbane decider after a dominant 44-12 win over Queensland in Perth.
Queensland coach Billy Slater said his side fell off the pace in the second half.
Nine News sports presenter Michael Atkinson predicts a few changes to the Origin III line-up after last night’s loss.
“Big loss for the Maroons over in Perth last night, 44 points to 12,” he said on 4BC Breakfast.
“I think that they will probably look at a couple of changes, first and foremost there will assess if there’s any injuries … couple of injury reports coming out of last night, Kalyn Ponga, he didn’t see out the game because of a head knock, but also Cameron Munster also had a bit of a bung shoulder it might him rule out of the NRL matches.”
The series will be decided in Brisbane on July 13.
