The Council’s upgrade of Brennan Park means its no longer wheelchair accessible and it’s affecting residents.

For years, 7-year-old Zach Dove London and his mother, Jessica, have been visiting Brennan Park in Bribie Island.

Last year, the park underwent upgrades and is no longer wheel chair accessible.

Zach wrote a letter to the Moreton Bay Regional Council expressing that himself and many other children in wheelchairs could no longer play at the park.

Ms Dove London told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons that the Council’s response was “…pretty disheartening.”
