Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin has weighed in on how Brisbane’s second NRL team the Dolphins will fare in 2023, also predicting the Broncos to make the top 8.

In his first stint back on 4BC’s Wide World of Sports with Peter Psaltis, he said the Dolphins had one promising trial match.

“You know what, if they win six games I think they’ve done OK.”

He said he spoke to Dolphins assistant Kristian Woolf about the side.

“He said look, all I am going to say is, it’s a big occasion, we will be ready to go.”

On the Broncos, he said they “collapsed” last year but he predicted they’d make the top 8 this year.

As for the Cowboys, he said the team is good enough to win the grand final.
