Pauline Hanson breaks down in tears during Ben Fordham TV interview
Pauline Hanson has broken down in a live television interview with 2GB’s Ben Fordham, declaring rogue senator Brian Burston has stabbed her in the back.
Senator Burston broke ranks earlier in the week, sticking with the government’s $35-billion corporate tax package despite One Nation withdrawing support.
In an extraordinary appearance on Sky News, the One Nation Leader tells Ben Fordham her party colleague tried to defect to the NSW Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party, but has been rejected.
Ms Hanson fought back tears as she delivered a passionate message to the Australian people.
“This isn’t the first time Brian’s stabbed me in the back, and that goes back a long time ago.
“It means so much to me what I’m trying to do and for him to turn around and do this to me Ben… it’s hard.”
