One Nation’s Pauline Hanson has retained her seat in the Senate, beating out the LNP’s Amanda Stoker.

The other Queensland senators are James McGrath, Murray Watt, Matt Canavan, Anthony Chisholm, and Penny Allman-Payne.

In a statement, Ms Hanson thanked Queenslanders for their support.

She congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

“I’ve said in the past he probably w0uldn’t make a good Prime Minister, however I sincerely hope he proves me wrong.”

She said One Nation has been warning about the energy crisis for years, and said Australians need representation “which puts them and their country first” more than ever.
